At The Mama Village Co., we understand that life with kids can be unpredictable. We also value the time reserved for each family and the preparation required to provide quality support. This policy helps us create a fair experience for both our clients and our team.
By booking services, purchasing products, or purchasing gift cards from The Mama Village Co., you agree to the following cancellation and refund policies.
Appointment Cancellations & Rescheduling
We kindly ask that clients provide as much notice as possible if they need to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
Cancellations or rescheduling requests made more than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment may be moved to another available time based on availability.
Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment may be subject to the full service charge.
Missed appointments or no-shows may be charged the full scheduled service amount.
Late Arrivals
If a client arrives late or is unavailable during their scheduled appointment time, the appointment may still end at the originally scheduled time.
Service time is reserved specifically for each client, and we are unable to guarantee additional time beyond the scheduled appointment.
Package Services
Packages purchased through The Mama Village Co. are intended to be used within the timeframe and terms provided at the time of purchase.
Unused package hours:
- May not be exchanged for cash
- May not be transferred without approval
- May expire according to the package terms
Once services from a package have been provided, completed service hours are non-refundable.
Recurring Services
For ongoing services, including Home Manager or recurring support clients:
- Clients may pause or discontinue recurring services with appropriate notice
- Scheduled appointments cancelled within the cancellation window may still be charged
- Future appointments will be adjusted based on availability
Party Helper Bookings
Due to the planning and scheduling involved with party support services:
- Party bookings require payment according to the booking terms provided
- Cancellations made within the cancellation window may be non-refundable
- Rescheduling requests will be accommodated when possible based on availability
Gift Cards
Gift cards purchased through The Mama Village Co.:
- Are non-refundable
- Cannot be exchanged for cash
- Cannot be replaced if lost or stolen
- May only be used toward eligible The Mama Village Co. services
Merchandise Returns & Refunds
We want you to love your The Mama Village Co. merchandise. Because many of our products are made specifically for each order, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges for changes of mind, incorrect sizing selections, or preferences after an order has been placed.
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order with your order information and photos of the issue. We will review the situation and work with you to determine an appropriate resolution, which may include a replacement or refund when applicable.
Refunds or replacements are not available for:
- Incorrect sizes ordered by the customer
- Changes of mind
- Items damaged due to customer use or improper care
- Orders with incorrect shipping information provided by the customer
Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the issue was caused by an error on our behalf.
Refunds
Because our services involve reserving time specifically for each client, refunds are generally not provided for completed services.
If you believe there has been an issue with your service or purchase, please contact us so we can review the situation and work toward an appropriate resolution.
Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method when possible.
Changes to This Policy
The Mama Village Co. reserves the right to update this Cancellation & Refund Policy at any time.
Updated policies will be posted on this page with the revised date.
